Six Valley teams in Semi Finals

Six Moonee Valley junior teams are competing in finals this weekend – more teams than for any other club in the North West Cricket Association.

All three of our Under 12 teams won their quarter finals last weekend to advance, while three of our Under 14 teams made the finals.

When you add in our Under 14 Girls, who played a semi-final last weekend, our strength in the junior competition is underlined.

There is a wide spread of teams across the semi-finals – 31 of the NWCA’s junior clubs have a team or teams competing – which further demonstrates our strength in having six teams going around.

We hope that our teams can go all the way this season.

Our Under 14 games are two-day matches, being played on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Our Under 12 games are Saturday matches.

All games start at 8.20am, and we encourage parents and supporters to come down and watch.

Under 14 Black: A Grade Moonee Valley v Keilor at Buckley Park Eastern oval.

Under 14 Gold: F Grade Moonee Valley v Reds at Poplar Oval, Parkville.

Under 14 Green: H Grade – Moonee Valley v Merlynston Hadfield at Debney Park.

Under 12 Black: B Grade Moonee Valley v West Coburg at Ormond Park.

Under 12 White: D Grade Moonee Valley v Greenvale at Moonee Ponds Central School.

Under 12 Gold: G Grade Moonee Valley v Strathmore at Strathmore Primary School.
