Captains, Committee & Fees

Membership this season has been set at $180 plus $45 Sporting Club membership. This is an increase of $30 on last season, but is still a great deal under other clubs in the area. Other than an increase in the cost of running a Club, we will be providing some extra benefits to members this season.

Firstly, there will be no more afternoon tea being made on Saturday mornings at the club. This has been outsourced so that players can come down and do what they need to do - PREPARE FOR PLAYING CRICKET.

Secondly, the club will be putting on FREE BBQs every match report Saturday night for all players, partners, kids and supporters.

THE COMMITTEE

There are still a number of positions to be filled on the Committee. This is shaping up as an exciting time for the Moonee Valley Cricket Club both on field and off so if you think you have some spare time, please come along for the ride!!

As mentioned earlier, the cost of putting 7 senior and 12 junior sides on the park every week is huge. Like all clubs, we rely on sponsorship and fundraising to help us meet these costs. Last year, our chocolate drive was a great success. We will be doing the same again this season.

Every player WILL GET A BOX TO SELL. No exceptions.

Help us to raise the funds that enable us to give you a game of cricket every week.
