Winter comp Round 2 our team and the details

Round 2 of the Mid Year Cricket Association is on this Saturday, May 10 - with a home game for Moonee Valley this time at Fairbairn Park No. 8 oval.

Our team is Anthony Cafari, Sam Carbone, Daniel Comande, Bede Gannon, Mark Gauci, Kern Kapoor, Gaurav Malhotra, Jack Newman, Michael Ozbun (capt), Ben Thomas, Matt Thomas.

The game, v Northern Lions B, starts at midday. Players should arrive at 11am. Remember to bring a chair if you want
to sit. Fairbairn Park is in Woods St, Ascot Vale. Ground 8 is the second oval downstream from the Maribyrnong Rd end.

Thanks to those who came down last week to support the team. We lost the final 10 overs of the match to rain, so it will be completed on the reserve day - Saturday, May 17. We're in an interesting position, with Northern Lions A 6/140 chasing our score of 9/185.

Though we'll be finishing Round 1 on the 17th, we will still have a net session from 9-11 that Saturday morning for anyone who is interested. This will play into selection for the following two weeks.
