Vic's lesson from history...

by

To all players, supporters and followers of MVCC

As we we rise to more inclement weather we need to lift our minds to a higher ground, gird our loins in anticipation of the next battle on our journey.

I leave you all with this message...............

"I want every soldier to know that I have complete confidence in the successful outcome of the operations that we are now to begin.    With stout hearts and enthusiasm for the contest, let us go forward to victory. And as we enter the battle let us recall the words of a famous soldier spoken many years ago:................

He either fears his fate too much
Or his deserts are too small
who dare not out it to the touch
to win or lose it all

Good luck to each of you..............and good hunting on the mainland"

                    FIELD MARSHAL BERNARD MONTGOMERY

Remember listen to your captains , give of yourself the best that you can be, leave nothing in the changing rooms, and above all make sure you represent MVCC in the best way in everything you do.

Good Luck

Vic Hodge
Coach
