Valley players in Team of the Year

The selection of Moonee Valley players Luke Brock and Dejan Gilevski in the Division 3 Team of the Year was announced at the VTCA Presentation Night on May 2.

DJ (at left), who took 29 wickets for 12.14 in the Firsts was selected at No. 9 in a vote by all the captains in the grade.

Brocky, who took 21 wickets @ 14.24 was the tailender of the team at No. 11.

And congratulations to Moonee Valley Team of the Decade member Nadeera "Tuffey" Thuppahi, now playing with Altona North, for winning the best player award for Division 1 and making the Div 1 Team of the Year.
