Poker night - Saturday, February 18

Just to let everyone know similar to last year Spud, Sambo &  myself are organising the Moonee Valley Cricket Club Life Members Poker Night to be held on Saturday 18th February.

We hope to make this an annual event as an opportunity for everyone to get together both Life Members and other past players.

Last year’s event was a huge success but we are looking to make this bigger and better. I would like to call this the Peter Gardiner- Poker Night (if OK with the Gardiner family) given PG’s love of the club and cards.

 We are seeking the following assistance;

·         A $50 donation to help with the catering and other costs.

·         Help on the day with set-up and pack up.

·         Help with providing a salad or pasta /rice type dish.

·         Donations for the raffle (ie any unwanted Christmas Gifts or bottles of wine/Alcohol or other items of value).

This year will be a BBQ theme with club marquees set-up outside the club rooms for members to mingle and get together. Our First Eleven will be out on the field supporting Pink Stumps day - breast cancer awareness and support day. The function Start time will be 5pm with the poker to commence around 7.30pm.  A formal flyer/invitation will follow in the coming days.
