Our Moonee Valley junior cricket program 2020/21

Welcome to the Moonee Valley Cricket Club Juniors. Our club welcomes all junior cricketers, male and female, and all levels of ability.

In 2020/21, we are fielding teams in NWMCA Friday night competitions in the U10, U12, U14 and U16 age groups. It is a shortened season this year, with matches from 27 November -18 December, and 29 January - 26 February.

Our U14 and U16 players can also play in senior teams, gaining experience alongside senior players.

All new and past players are welcome at MVCC, if you would like to come along to training please contact the junior co-ordinator:

The junior program is run by senior players at all levels and family participation is always welcome.

COACHES:

U10 – Felix Fischer and Luca Nimorakiotakis

U12  – Steve Esmore and Bede Gannon

U14 –  Jack Newman and Luke Brock

U16 – Channa De Silva and Peter Pickering

TRAINING

All training is held at Ormond Park.

U10 , U12, U14 – all teams train Thursday nights from 4.30-5.30pm

U16 (two teams) – training 5pm Tuesdays

U10 , U12, U14 – all teams train Thursday nights from 4.30-5.30pm

U16 – training 5.30-6.30pm Tuesdays

SUBSCRIPTIONS:

The subscription of $225 per player covers all costs of play, including insurance, ground fees and association fees, club equipment and umpires. 

Discounts are provided for families and concession card holders. You need to log on to MyCricket to pay your registration, as all payments go through this system.
