Congratulations to our Football colleagues

Congratulations to our colleagues at the Moonee Valley Football Club on capping off an excellent season with two Premierships.
The Valleys won the Reserves and Under 18 flags, while the Seniors were in the finals race up until the last game of the season.

The success of the Moonee Valley Football Club is particularly satisfying to us, as there is a strong crossover with our cricket club.

The MVFC President, Steve Radford, is a past player at our Club, and a key ongoing sponsor with his Dorrs food and catering company.

Football Vice President Dean Lawson is a continuing player with our “Mighty Fighting” Sunday two-day hard-wicket team, as is MVFC Secretary Brett Curran – a long-standing skipper of the same team.

Of the Reserves premiership winners, Eamonn Fenaughty, David Royle and Francis Ambesi have all played cricket with us.

With the Under 18s, Matthew Wenlock, Kurtis Tankard, Adrian Rotunno, Tariq Gerardi, Matthew Lauk, James Saragias, Richard Potter, Josh Esposito, Benjamin Di Lisio and Alex Spencer all came through our cricketing junior ranks.
