Condolences to the Panousieris family

The Moonee Valley Cricket Club wishes to pass on our condolences on behalf of members and supporters to the Panousieris family on the passing of George last Sunday.

Son Andreas played senior and junior cricket at Moonee Valley from 2004 to 2011, and George and wife Robin were at most games in support, regularly taking on tasks such as scoring and a team support role.

George was a staunch endorser of our club and our junior program, and we warmly acknowledge that support.

Andreas is a two-time junior premiership player, and George was immensely proud of the achievements of his son and his teammates.

The funeral for George will be held at the Cordell Chapel, Fawkner Crematorium, at 10.30am on Thursday, July 10.

The thoughts of current players and past teammates and supporters are with Robin and Andreas.
