Favorite Moonee Valley Cricketer Gary Irons
Why do you admire him/her? A seemingly ordinary cricketer who always seemed to do the extraordinary.
How would you like the club to describe you/your attributes/your career ? Don't mention old; fat; or bald!
Your proudest cricketing moment with Moonee Valley: 2nd Eleven Premiership, 1977/78
Your funniest cricketing moment with Moonee Valley? MVCC 3rd Eleven Semi Final v Kealba. MV 9 down and 49 runs behind when I got to the wicket. Tony Hicks and I managed to get the runs. No-one would believe us until the scorebook was produced. Hicksy and I still don't believe it.
Highest score: 48 - 3rd Eleven, 81/82
Best bowling: 7/15 - 3rd Eleven, 84/85
