We're into North A grade

The Victorian Turf Cricket Association has confirmed Moonee Valley's promotion into the North A grade, following our First Eleven Grand Final appearance.

Advice from the VTCA issued on May 5 officially confirmed that Moonee Valley had been promoted from the North B division, on the back of an excellent season and the Grand Final match. Our Second Eleven also goes up, to North A 2.

We previously won promotion to North A in 2003/04, but came back down to North B after one season which yielded just one win.

The VTCA has restructured its grades for 2009/10, with the metro-wide Senior A Division now being divided into a North Division and a South Division. Below the North Division is NorthA , followed by NorthB . The teams we will be competing against in North A will probably be finalised by mid-May.
