Moonee Valley legend Darren "Spud" Nagle is set to become the first player in our Club's illustrious history to play 300 games, pulling on the whites for the match against Greenvale at our Ormond Park home on Sunday, October 30.

Spud seems to have settled well into our Fourths this season, and it's only fitting that he's set to play with that wily bunch of players in his milestone match.

Life Member, President for 14 years, an integral link in the formation of Moonee Valley's juniors and now junior coach, Spud has seen it all at Moonee Valley - leading from the front all the way.

We're inviting as many current and past players, supporters and opponents as possible to come down to Ormond Park and watch him reach his milestone. It's a one-day game, so it shouldn't be too taxing on his old body. The game starts at 1.30pm, so come down and celebrate as a Club legend goes where no-one has gone before. Well done Spud!
