Our Shaun picked for Victoria

Moonee Valley's own Shaun Rayment has been selected to play cricket for Victoria.

Shaun, who's a one-day specialist who bats in the top order with our Sevenths and usually sends down a couple of overs, has been picked in Victoria's all-abilities team.

He's also a fielding specialist, and has made his name at Moonee Valley for his spectacular catching and athletic style in the field.

Shaun was selected after being part of trials involving about 100 hopefuls.

He's also a regular at indoor cricket, which has helped him hone his skills for Moonee Valley.

Shaun has a high score of 54 with Moonee Valley and took his career-best figures of 4/31 in the same 2008/09 game, to deservedly win man of the match.
