Men's cricket called off: October 2/3 weekend. Women's game - now 10am Saturday

As a result of the situation of turf wickets and of the AFL Grand Final replay, all senior men's cricket is OFF this weekend.

VTCA and MMVCA has advised that the majority of clubs do not have their turf wickets ready, and so play could not proceed.

And MMVCA and NWCA has advised that due to the clash with the AFL replay, the matting grades in which we compete have been also called off.

Decisions will be made and advised at a later date as to whether any of the rounds from this weekend will be rescheduled.

However, the Moonee Valley flag will be flying this weekend with our women's team.

Our girls are fixtured to play a Twenty20 game against Melton on SATURDAY. In deference to the football, the start time has been moved from 2pm, and now starts at 10am. (It was previously listed as 11am).

The game is at McPherson Park Recreation Reserve in Coburns Rd, Melton. So please come along and support the only Moonee Valley team going through its paces this weekend.

Our juniors are all fixtured to start on the October 8-10 weekend.
