Charles bowls his way to success

Moonee Valley Under 12s Premiership player Charles Aitken has topped off a successful season by winning the NWCA Under 12 D bowling award.

Charles, who played in Darren Nagle's premiership team, took 15 wickets during the season at the miserly average of 8.27.

To prove he could also cut it when the stakes were high, Charles returned figures of 0/2, 1/3 and 0/2 in the three finals.
